If you are driving from San Ignacio, head east on the George Price Highway (Hummingbird Highway) towards Belize City. After approximately 45 minutes, take the exit for the Northern Highway towards Belize City. Continue on this road for about 30 minutes until you reach the Belize City Airport. From there, take a domestic flight to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Once you arrive in San Pedro, rent a golf cart or take a taxi. Head south along the main road (Barrier Reef Drive) for about 2.6 miles until you reach Pelican Reef Villas Resort on the beachfront.
Public Transportation
From San Ignacio, take a bus to Belize City from the local bus terminal. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes around 2 hours. Once in Belize City, head to the Belize City Airport and purchase a ticket for a domestic flight to San Pedro.
