If you are starting from the Cotonou Central Market (Marché Dantokpa), exit the market and head northwest on Rue du Commerce. Continue straight until you reach Avenue Jean-Paul II. Turn right onto Avenue Jean-Paul II. Walk straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Institut Français du Bénin will be on your left, just after the intersection with Rue des Nations.
