From the center of Gbegamey, head towards Avenue de la Révolution. This is a main road and relatively easy to navigate. Walk along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Route des Pêches. Turn right onto Route des Pêches and continue straight. You will pass by local shops and markets, so it's a great opportunity to experience local life. Keep walking for about 20 minutes until you see signs for Corniche de Cotonou. The Corniche will be on your left side.

Bicycle Taxi (Zémidjan)
You can also opt for a Zémidjan (bicycle taxi) for a more convenient travel option. Near any main street in Gbegamey, simply wave down a Zémidjan. Tell the driver 'Corniche de Cotonou' or point to your destination on a map if you have one. The ride should cost approximately 500 to 1000 CFA francs, depending on the distance and negotiation. The driver will take you as close as possible to the Corniche, which is around 5-10 minutes away.
