If you are starting from the Cotonou central market (Marché Dantokpa), head south on Avenue Jean-Paul II towards Avenue de la République. Continue walking straight for about 20 minutes. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the large intersection where Avenue Jean-Paul II meets Avenue de la République, and cross over to continue straight. After another 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Monument aux Dévoués, located at the coordinates 9C2H+QW3.

If you are near the beach area (Plage de Cotonou), start by heading north on Rue de l'Entente. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach Avenue de la République. Turn right and continue walking straight for about 25 minutes. You will see the Monument aux Dévoués on your right, just before you reach the busy intersection with Avenue Jean-Paul II.
