Car
From Couffo, head northeast on the main road towards Dassa-Zoume. Continue for about 80 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the N3 highway. Turn left onto the N3 highway and follow the signs towards Ugbo. After approximately 45 kilometers, you will arrive in Ugbo. Okomu National Park is located just outside of Ugbo. Look for signs directing you to the park entrance which is about 5 kilometers from the town center. Note that there may be a park entrance fee; be prepared to pay this upon arrival.
Public Transportation
Start your journey by taking a shared taxi or 'bush taxi' from Couffo to Dassa-Zoume. This ride typically costs around 1,500 CFA and takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Dassa-Zoume, find a taxi or bus heading to Ugbo. The fare for this leg will be about 1,000 CFA and will take around 1 hour. Upon arriving in Ugbo, you can either walk or take a motorcycle taxi to the entrance of Okomu National Park, which is about 5 kilometers away. Be sure to confirm the fare with the motorcycle taxi driver beforehand, as it may cost around 500 CFA.
