The drive is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive in Ouidah, look for signs directing you to the Pythons Temple, which is located in the city center. You can park your car nearby in designated parking areas.
Public Transportation - Taxi-Brousse
To reach Pythons Temple using public transportation, find a taxi-brousse station in Couffo. Taxi-brousses (shared minibuses) travel to Ouidah regularly. Check the schedule and board a taxi-brousse heading to Ouidah. The fare is usually around 1,000 to 2,000 CFA francs. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once in Ouidah, ask the driver to drop you off near the city center. From there, it's a short walk to the Pythons Temple.

If you arrive in Ouidah and are close to the city center, you can walk to the Pythons Temple. From the central market, head south on Rue de la Liberté. Continue straight until you reach the temple, which is clearly marked and well-known. The walk should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
