Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Cotonou. Head southeast on Avenue Jean-Paul II towards Rue 14. Continue straight to stay on Avenue Jean-Paul II, then turn right onto Rue 14. Follow the road until you reach Route des Peches. La Perle du Golfe will be on your left at Fidjrossè. Make sure to check for parking availability upon arrival.
Taxi
You can take a taxi from anywhere in Cotonou to La Perle du Golfe. Simply tell the driver to take you to Fidjrossè, Route des Peches. The fare should be around 1,500 to 3,000 CFA (approximately $2.50 to $5). Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey if the taxi does not have a meter.
Public Transportation (Danfo)
For a more local experience, you can take a Danfo (shared minibus) from the central bus station in Cotonou. Look for a Danfo heading towards Fidjrossè. The fare is usually about 200 CFA (approximately $0.35). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Route des Peches. Once you get off, it will be a short walk to La Perle du Golfe, which will be on your left.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can also walk to La Perle du Golfe. Start from the nearest landmark or hotel, head towards Route des Peches, and look for signs directing you to Fidjrossè. It is important to stay aware of your surroundings and walk during daylight hours for safety.
