If you're driving from the center of Ouémé, take Route des Pêches heading south towards Cotonou. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the junction with Avenue Jean-Paul II. Turn right onto Avenue Jean-Paul II and continue for about 5 km. Look for signs indicating Haie Vive. As you get closer, turn left towards the beach area, and you will see Obama beach on your right. Parking is available nearby, but check for any potential parking fees.

Public Transportation

To reach Obama beach using public transport, head to the nearest bus stop in Ouémé. Board a bus heading towards Cotonou. The fare should be around 200-300 CFA francs. Inform the driver you want to get off near Haie Vive. Once you arrive in Cotonou, you may need to take a taxi or a moto-taxi for a short ride to Obama beach. The taxi fare should be approximately 1000 CFA francs for this short distance.
