Walking
If you are starting at the Ouidah Museum of History located at Avenue du 1er Décembre, head southeast on Avenue du 1er Décembre towards Rue de la Plage. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Plage. Turn left onto Rue de la Plage and walk for another 200 meters until you see the beach. At the beach, turn right and follow the shoreline path for about 1 kilometer. You will see a sign for the Basilica on your left. The Basilica is located at Ouidah 62.
Walking
Starting from the Ouidah Port area, head northeast on Rue de la Mer towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk for about 300 meters and then turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach Avenue du 1er Décembre. Turn right and walk for about 200 meters. You will find the Basilica on your left at Ouidah 62.

From the Temple of Pythons located at Rue des Pythons, walk east on Rue des Pythons until you reach Avenue du 1er Décembre. Turn right onto Avenue du 1er Décembre and continue straight for about 400 meters. Turn left onto Rue de la Plage and follow it as it curves along the coast for about 500 meters. The Basilica will be on your left at Ouidah 62.
Walking
If you are near the Ouidah Central Market, head north on Rue du Marché towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn right onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and walk straight for about 600 meters. Then, turn left onto Avenue du 1er Décembre. Continue for about 200 meters, and the Basilica will be on your left at Ouidah 62.
