Car
If you're traveling by car from Pendjari National Park, head southeast towards the town of Natitingou. Follow the signs to the Natiingou-Benin City road. After approximately 130 kilometers, merge onto the A121 highway towards Benin City. Continue straight until you reach the city center. Once in Benin City, navigate to 191 Benin-Sapele Road, located near the Santana Market in the Oka area. Be sure to check the local traffic conditions and allow extra time for urban driving.
Public Transportation
To use public transportation, begin your journey at the main bus terminal in Pendjari National Park. Look for a bus heading to Benin City. The journey typically takes about 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the Benin City bus terminal, take a local taxi or motorbike taxi ('okada') to reach 191 Benin-Sapele Road. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly to the driver. The taxi fare should be around 500-1000 NGN depending on the distance.
Taxi/Motorbike Taxi
Once you are in Benin City, you can also hire a taxi or take a motorbike taxi directly to Enogie's Palace. The location is well-known among local drivers, so simply tell them you want to go to 191 Benin-Sapele Road, near Santana Market in Oka. Expect to pay approximately 500 NGN for a motorbike taxi and about 1000-1500 NGN for a car taxi, depending on the traffic and distance.
