Car
If you are driving from Jakar, head south on the main highway. Keep following the signs towards Trongsa. After about 90 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road; take the right branch towards Bumthang. Continue on this road until you see signs for Amguri. The Bhutan India Gate is located in this area. Keep an eye out for local landmarks to guide your way.
Public Transportation
To reach Bhutan India Gate using public transport, start by taking a bus from Jakar to Bumthang. The bus ride takes roughly 2 hours. Once you arrive at Bumthang, you can find local taxis or shared vehicles to Amguri. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to the Bhutan India Gate. The taxi fare should be around 300-500 Nu depending on the distance and negotiation.
Walking
If you are already in Amguri and prefer to walk, you can reach Bhutan India Gate by following the main road. Head south from the center of Amguri, and after about a 30-minute walk, you will arrive at Bhutan India Gate. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
