Car
From any point in Bumthang Valley, head south on the main road leading towards Jakar. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Gelephu road. Turn right at the junction onto the Gelephu road (NH 2). Follow NH 2 for about 140 kilometers. You will pass through several small towns and rural areas. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Gelephu and the hot springs. Once you reach Gelephu, follow the local signs to Gelephu Tshachu. Parking is available near the hot springs.

From Bumthang, take a bus heading towards Gelephu from the local bus station. Buses typically leave several times a day. The journey may take about 5-6 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way. Upon arrival in Gelephu, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to Gelephu Tshachu. Taxis are available at the bus station and will cost approximately 300-500 Nu to reach the hot springs.
