From the center of Jakar, head south on the main road (Bumthang-Jakar road) towards Tang Valley. After approximately 20 kilometers, watch for signs directing you to Tang Valley. Continue on this road for another 10 kilometers, and you will reach the junction leading to Ogyen Choling. The site is approximately 3 kilometers from this junction. Park at the designated area and walk to the museum, which is well marked along the path.

From Jakar, you can take a local bus heading towards Tang Valley. The bus departs from the main bus station in Jakar. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes, and buses run several times a day.
