    From Bumthang Valley, start by taking the road towards Trongsa. Drive on the main highway (Bumthang-Trongsa Highway) for approximately 68 kilometers. The drive will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. As you approach Trongsa, you will see the majestic Trongsa Dzong on your left. Continue straight for another 15 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, take a left turn towards Phobjikha Valley. Follow this road for about 20 km, which will lead you directly into Phobjikha Valley. Be cautious of the winding roads and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer using public transportation, take a local bus from Bumthang to Trongsa. Buses operate regularly, and the fare is generally around 150 Ngultrum (BTN). The bus ride takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Trongsa, you can find shared taxis or local vehicles heading towards Phobjikha Valley. The taxi fare will be around 500 Ngultrum (BTN) for the 15 km journey to the valley. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.
