If you are traveling by car in Central Bhutan, start your journey from the capital, Thimphu. Take the route towards Paro, following the signs for the Paro-Thimphu Highway (NH 2). After approximately 23 km, look for the sign leading to the Dochu La Pass. Turn onto the road that leads to Dochu La. Once you reach Dochu La, enjoy the stunning views and continue along the road for about 16 km until you reach the Lungchutse Goemba trailhead. There is limited parking available near the trailhead, so be prepared for a short hike.
