If you are driving from Thimphu, take the Thimphu-Phuentsholing Highway (NH 2) and head towards Chhukha District. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the Chapcha area. Look for signs indicating the turnoff to Chapcha. Once in Chapcha, navigate to the Unnamed Road, where Dokhachu Goenpa is located. The site is approximately 3 km from Chapcha town, following the Unnamed Road. Parking is available near the Goenpa.

From Thimphu, take a bus headed to Phuentsholing. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Chapcha. Upon reaching Chapcha, you can take a local taxi or a shared vehicle that goes towards Dokhachu Goenpa. The cost for the bus ride is approximately 100-150 Ngultrum, and the local taxi fare to Dokhachu Goenpa from Chapcha is around 300-400 Ngultrum.
