16 Days Amazing Bhutan From East to West

Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travel – An Exceptional Experience

I’ve recently returned from a 16-day Amazing Bhutan from East to West tour with Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travel. Having travelled extensively through more than 50 countries, I can honestly say that my experience with Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travel was exceptional. From my initial enquiries, Bhutan Acorn was excellent to deal with. Communication was prompt, all arrangements including visas and flights were handled efficiently, and any questions answered quickly. Travelling from east to west allowed me to experience the quieter, less-visited regions before reaching the more familiar destinations. The itinerary was varied, taking us through spectacular landscapes, ancient temples, rural villages, traditional homestays and a remarkable festival in Bumthang. Accommodation ranged from excellent to more basic in remote areas. Meals were consistently delicious, plentiful, and well prepared. But what made the journey truly special were our guide and driver. Our guide, Sonam, was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and engaging, tailoring both the information he shared and the way he presented it to our individual interests and preferences. He was also incredibly patient and attentive during the hike to the Tiger’s Nest. Our driver, also named Sonam, was outstanding, navigating Bhutan’s winding mountain roads with great skill and care. Both men showed genuine warmth and kindness, often in small, thoughtful ways that went well beyond what I would normally expect. Throughout the journey, they treated me as an honoured guest in their country. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travel to anyone planning a visit to Bhutan. I returned home with wonderful memories, enormous affection for the country and its people, and a very strong desire to return.

12 Days Wonders of Bhutan With 3-Day Gangtey Nature Trek

Cultural immersion, wonderful people and time in pristine nature

We warmly recommend Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travels. All our interactions, from the initial contact to the planning and realisation of our trip were very smooth, professional and enjoyable. We were able to have a custom-based designed programme meeting our needs, which in our case included a desire to immerse ourselves as a family of four into the culture of Bhutan by getting to know the culture, people, historical and religious sites, while spending every day some time in nature and doing some hikes. The stay over 2 days in a Homestay, the trek and arrival on the Tiger’s Nest from the top, and lunches at various people’s home are among the numerous highlights from our trip. Our guide, Tashi, was very knowledgeable and always keen and enthusiastic to share his knowledge and passion. And our driver, Kinley, was very safe and very considerate and adding a personal touch through his musical talents. We really appreciated the depth, authenticity and richness of the experience we were able to have within 12 days and are leaving with some beautiful memories and friends that will stay for ever.

Private Multi-Day Bhutan Tour: Paro, Taktsang Monastery, Thimphu

Mystical Bhutan Tigers Nest :)

So for me it was a solo trip and as much skeptical i was in my mind, that much content i was on my way back… While Thimphu and Punaka felt more touristy doing the usual touristy things, Paro was amazingly welcoming and mystical esp with the visit to Tigers Nest, the quiet silence …. This all wouldn’t have been possible without the personalised service that the World Tour Plan curated for me….
