From Jakar, start at the Jakar Dzong, heading west towards the main road (Jakar-Thimphu Highway). Once you reach the main road, head south towards the town of Gantey. It's approximately a 2-hour walk to Gantey village. Upon reaching Gantey, look for local signs directing you to Phobjikha Valley. The valley is a short trek from Gantey, taking about 30 minutes on foot, following the well-marked trails.
