Start from the center of Lhuentse town. Head southeast on the main road towards Goshi. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for a sign directing you towards Kilung. Turn right onto the Kilung road, which is a dirt road. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Kilung. Be prepared for rough terrain, and ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions.

From Lhuentse town, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Goshi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kilung. The fare should be around 50 to 100 Ngultrum. Once you reach the junction for Kilung, you may need to walk the remaining 5 kilometers to Kilung on foot, as public transport may not go directly to the site.
