Getting There

Car
From Lhuntse town, head towards the north on the main road. Continue driving for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which is marked by a sign for Singye Dzong. Drive for another 5 kilometers, passing through a few villages. The road will become narrower and more winding. After about 15 minutes of driving on this road, you will reach the parking area near Singye Dzong. Be prepared for some rough patches on the road; a vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended.

Public Transportation
From the center of Lhuntse, take a local taxi or shared taxi heading towards the direction of Singye Dzong. Local taxis can be found near the main market area. The fare should be around 200-300 Ngultrum per person. Inform the driver of your destination. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. The taxi will drop you off at the nearest point to Singye Dzong, from where you will have to walk about 15 minutes uphill to reach the Dzong.
