You will follow the main road out of Lhuntse, passing through scenic rural landscapes. Keep an eye out for signposts directing you towards Takila. Once you reach the village of Takila, continue following the road until you see the large statue on your right. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your vehicle.

For those using public transportation, you can catch a local bus or shared taxi from Lhuntse town to Takila. There are usually buses that leave every hour from the main bus station in Lhuntse. The fare is around 100 Ngultrum (BTN). Inform the driver that you are going to see the statue of Guru Rinpoche, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk of about 5-10 minutes to reach the statue.

If you are adventurous and prefer to walk, you can start from Lhuntse town and make your way to Takila on foot. The walking distance is approximately 14 kilometers and will take around 3-4 hours depending on your pace. Follow the main road leading out of Lhuntse, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
