If you are traveling by car from the center of Mongar District, start by heading east on the main highway (National Highway 2) towards Trashigang. After approximately 10 kilometers, keep an eye out for a road sign indicating Gong Thung. Turn left onto the road that leads towards Gong Thung. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the area marked 9HF3+W4Q. Park your car at a safe location nearby. From here, prepare for a short hike to the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Jamkhardrang Waterfall using public transport, take a local bus or shared taxi from Mongar town towards Trashigang. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Gong Thung. The fare is usually around 100-150 Ngultrum. Once you arrive at Gong Thung, ask locals for directions to the waterfall, which is roughly a 30-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the path leading toward the waterfall, and be prepared for a scenic trek.
