Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car from Mongar town, head east on the Druk Highway (National Highway 2) towards Nganglam. After approximately 12 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the turn-off for the Mansang Footprint. Turn left onto the road leading towards the site. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the entrance to the Mansang Footprint site. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the actual footprint location.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mansang Footprint via public transportation from Mongar, take a local bus heading towards Nganglam. Buses depart from the main bus terminal in Mongar. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the turn-off for Mansang Footprint. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will need to pay a fare of around 50-100 Nu (Bhutanese Ngultrum). Once you get off, walk along the road for about 3 kilometers to reach the parking area. From there, it is a short walk to the footprint site.
