From the center of Mongar town, head east on the main road towards Trashigang. As you walk, you will pass local shops and small eateries. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road forks. Take the left fork, which is the main road leading to Trashigang. Follow this road, which winds through beautiful hills and offers scenic views. After approximately 6 kilometers, you will enter the outskirts of Trashigang. Continue straight, and look for signs directing you towards Trashigang Dzong. The Dzong is situated on a hill overlooking the town, and you will need to walk up a short trail leading to the entrance.

Rent a bicycle in Mongar town. Start by heading east on the main road towards Trashigang, passing through local shops and eateries. After about 3 kilometers, when you reach the fork in the road, take the left fork leading to Trashigang. The ride will take you through hilly terrain; be prepared for some uphill sections. After approximately 6 kilometers, you will enter Trashigang. Look for signs directing you to Trashigang Dzong.
