The bus ride takes about 1-1.5 hours, and buses leave approximately every 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Paro, you will be dropped off at the main bus station, which is centrally located.

If you are in a nearby area to Thimphu and wish to explore, you can walk to the outskirts of the city to catch a bus to Paro. Head towards the main road leading out of Thimphu, which will take you to the bus station.
