Every aspect of this holiday was perfect, thanks to a fantastic locally based company Swotah in Kathmandu. Although our original itinerary had to be changed, meaning we missed out on the Tibet region due to the devastating floods, the company responded quickly and professionally, arranging an alternative tour that allowed us to explore even more of Nepal. This included an incredible five-day safari in Bardiya and a peaceful escape to Balthali Valley. We also managed to visit Bhutan, which felt like stepping back in time — wonderfully serene, peaceful and fascinating. The professionalism of this company is truly first-class. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and all of our tour guides were knowledgeable, interesting and great fun to spend time with. Throughout the trip, we enjoyed incredible food, met wonderfully welcoming local people and experienced a culture that is deeply rooted in tradition. What amazed me most was his ability to adapt; Kumar completely reorganized my e itinerary, adjusting the trekking days so I wouldn't miss out on the magic of Nepal small village while recovering. Thanks to Kumar's expertise, flexibility, and genuine kindness, what could be a stressful situation was transformed into a safe, successful, and deeply memorable adventure.
