From the center of Paro, head towards the Paro Dzong, which is a prominent landmark. Look for the signs directing you to Paro Taktsang. Follow the main road (the Bumpa Road) that leads out of town. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the trailhead at the base of the mountain where the trek to Paro Taktsang begins. The hike is approximately 2-3 hours uphill on well-marked paths. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. Along the way, you will find several viewpoints offering stunning views of the monastery and the surrounding landscape.
