Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the center of Paro near the Paro Dzong. From the Dzong, head south towards the main street (Rinpung Lam). Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Thimphu. Turn left onto the Thimphu road. After approximately 5 minutes of walking, you will see a bus stop. Continue walking straight on this road for about 30 minutes until you reach the outskirts of Thimphu. Simply Bhutan is located along Genyen Lam in Thimphu, about 15-20 minutes further on foot from the bus stop.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Paro, walk to the Paro Bus Station located near the center of town. Take a bus heading to Thimphu. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Thimphu Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards Genyen Lam. Simply Bhutan is located on Genyen Lam; you will need to walk about 15-20 minutes from the bus terminal to reach the museum.
