Car
If you have access to a car, start from the center of Phobjikha Valley. Drive south towards Punakha for approximately 30-40 minutes. The Punakha Suspension Bridge is located near the Punakha Dzong. Look for signs indicating the bridge, or use GPS to navigate to the coordinates 27.5889867, 89.8698911. There is ample parking available near the bridge.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Phobjikha Valley to Punakha. Buses typically leave every hour and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Punakha bus station, you can hire a taxi or walk to the Punakha Suspension Bridge, which is approximately 15 minutes away on foot. Make sure to ask locals for directions to the bridge if you're unsure.
Walking
If you are already in Punakha and want to walk to the Punakha Suspension Bridge, head towards the Punakha Dzong. From the Dzong, the bridge is about a 15-20 minute walk. Head southwest from the Dzong, and follow the path that leads to the bridge, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
