From the center of Punakha, head east towards the Punakha Dzong, a major landmark. Continue walking along the main road until you reach the junction at the bridge over the Pho Chhu River. Cross the bridge and follow the road until you reach the fork where the road splits towards the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Take the left path. After about 30 minutes, you will reach a small village. Ask a local for directions to Chubu Tshachu, as it is a popular destination and they will be able to guide you. Continue following the path, which will lead you through scenic landscapes and eventually towards the thermal baths.
