Starting from the center of Sarpang District, head south on the main road towards Chhudzom Gewog. Follow the road for approximately 15 kilometers. You will pass through small villages and scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating Chhudzom Gewog. Once you reach Chhudzom Gewog, continue straight until you see a sign for Thonja Nye. The last part of the journey will involve a short drive on a dirt road, which may be bumpy, so drive carefully. Upon arrival, you can park your car at the designated area near the hiking trail leading to Thonja Nye.

From Sarpang town, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Chhudzom Gewog. The bus will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Chhudzom. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Chhudzom Gewog stop. Once you arrive, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to the trailhead for Thonja Nye, which is about 3 kilometers from the main road. The taxi fare should be around 100-150 Nu. If you prefer walking, follow the dirt path leading towards the hills, which will take you to Thonja Nye in about 30 minutes.
