Car
If you are traveling by car from Sarpang, start by heading east on the main road towards Wangdue Phodrang. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Keep an eye on the road signs; you will pass through several small towns. Once you reach Wangdue Phodrang, follow the signs to Phobjikha Valley. The Kumbu Lhakhang is located at G56H+658, which will be a short drive from the main road into Phobjikha. Park your vehicle near the temple.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Sarpang to Wangdue Phodrang. Buses run regularly, and the fare is reasonable (approximately 100-150 BTN). Upon reaching Wangdue Phodrang, find a local bus or taxi that goes towards Phobjikha Valley. The taxi fare may vary but expect to pay around 500-700 BTN for the trip. Once you arrive at G56H+658 in Phobjikha Valley, you can walk to Kumbu Lhakhang.
Combination of Public Transport and Walking
Begin your journey by taking a bus from Sarpang to Wangdue Phodrang. After reaching Wangdue Phodrang, you can either take a local taxi to Phobjikha Valley or a bus if available. Once you reach the vicinity of Kumbu Lhakhang (G56H+658), be prepared to walk about 15-20 minutes to reach the temple. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
