Starting from Sarpang, take the NH2 highway heading towards Gelephu. Continue on NH2 for about 35 km until you reach the junction at Gelephu. From there, take the road towards Punakha/Dzongkhul, following the signs. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. The Punakha Dzong will be located on the left side of the river as you approach the town of Punakha. Once you see the dzong, you can park in the designated parking area nearby.
