From the center of Sarpang, take the main road heading towards Motithang. Follow the signs for Motithang and continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating the Royal Takin Preserve. The entrance is located at coordinates 27.4817741, 89.6114265. Parking is available on-site. Please note that there is an entrance fee of Nu. 300 per person for foreign visitors.

If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Motithang from the main bus terminal in Sarpang. Inform the driver you are going to the Royal Takin Preserve. The fare is typically around Nu. 50. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you may need to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of the preserve. Be prepared to pay the entrance fee of Nu. 300 per person for foreign visitors.
