Car
From Sarpang, head north on the main highway towards Gelephu. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Gelephu. At the junction, take the right turn towards Thimphu. After about 150 kilometers of driving, follow the signs for Thimphu City. As you enter Thimphu, look for the signs directing you to Chang Gewog. The Six Senses Bhutan is located in Chunimeding, Babesa, which is a well-known area in Thimphu. The resort is approximately 5 kilometers from the main Thimphu market. You can use a navigation app for precise directions.
Public Transportation
From Sarpang, take a local bus heading towards Gelephu. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you reach Gelephu, transfer to another bus heading to Thimphu. This ride will take approximately 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival in Thimphu, you may need to hire a taxi to Chang Gewog, as public transport may not directly reach the resort. The taxi ride from the Thimphu bus station to Six Senses Bhutan should take around 15-20 minutes and will cost approximately 500-700 Ngultrum.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, you can hire a taxi directly from Sarpang to Six Senses Bhutan. This would involve a drive of around 150 kilometers and will take approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic conditions. The fare may vary but expect to pay around 3000-4000 Ngultrum for the journey.
