If you are traveling by car from Sarpang to Trongsa Dzong, start by heading north on the Sarpang-Tsirang highway. Continue on this road for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the junction at Tsirang. At the junction, take the left turn onto the Wangduephodrang highway, which leads towards Trongsa. Follow the road for about 40 kilometers, passing through beautiful landscapes and small villages. As you approach Trongsa, you will see signs directing you to Trongsa Dzong, which is located in the center of the town. Parking is available near the Dzong.

To reach Trongsa Dzong using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Sarpang to Trongsa. Buses depart from the main bus terminal in Sarpang. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on road conditions. Ensure to check the bus schedule beforehand as the frequency may vary. Once you arrive at Trongsa, you can take a local taxi or walk to Trongsa Dzong, which is about 1 kilometer away from the bus station. The Dzong is located at FGX3+VXG, Trongsa and is easily accessible on foot.
