Car
From Tashiyangtse, drive towards Jakar in Bumthang Valley. The journey is approximately 196 km and will take about 6-7 hours. Follow the road signs leading towards the town of Bumthang. You will pass through the scenic landscapes of Bhutan, including lush forests and valleys. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some stretches of the road can be rough. There may be a few tolls along the way, so keep some local currency handy.
Public Transportation (Bus)
You can catch a bus to Bumthang from the local bus station in Tashiyangtse. Buses typically leave in the morning and the journey takes around 8-10 hours depending on road conditions.
