If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Tashiyangtse. Drive towards the east on the main road leading out of Tashiyangtse. Continue for approximately 10 km until you reach the junction at Tshatshobaykha. Take the right turn towards Je Bamo Lam SE. Simtokha Dzong will be located on this road, approximately 2 km ahead. Keep an eye out for the Dzong on your right, as it is a large fortress with distinctive architecture.
