Car
From Tashiyangtse, head towards the main road connecting to the Bumthang - Ura Highway. You will drive approximately 30 km south to reach Trongsa. Keep a lookout for road signs directing you to Taa-Dzong. The Taa-Dzong is located just off the Bumthang - Ura Highway at the coordinates 27.4993111, 90.5076205. Once you arrive, you can park your car near the entrance.
Public Transportation
Take a local bus from Tashiyangtse to Trongsa. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Tashiyangtse and the journey may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic and stops. Once you reach Trongsa, you can either take a taxi or walk approximately 1 km to Taa-Dzong, located off the Bumthang - Ura Highway. Taxis are readily available at the bus station, and the fare should be around 100-200 Ngultrum.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Tashiyangtse to Taa-Dzong. This option is more expensive, with fares ranging from 1000 to 1500 Ngultrum for the trip. The taxi will take you directly to Taa-Dzong at the address FGX5+P2H, Bumthang - Ura Hwy, Trongsa.
