    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Thimphu, head towards the Clock Tower Square. Once you reach the square, take the road leading towards the National Library. Continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Royal Academy of Performing Arts. At the intersection, turn left onto the road that leads towards the Tashichho Dzong. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters. You will see signs for Ludrong Memorial Garden on your right. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the garden.

    If you are near the Changlimithang Stadium, exit the stadium area and head south. Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the main road. Turn right on the main road and continue walking. After about 700 meters, look for the sign for Ludrong Memorial Garden on your left. Follow the path indicated by the sign to reach the garden.

    From the Buddha Dordenma Statue, head down the hill towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the junction near the National Textile Museum. At this junction, turn right and continue walking for another 500 meters. The entrance to Ludrong Memorial Garden will be on your right-hand side.

    If you are at the Memorial Chorten, exit the site and head east along the road. Walk straight until you reach the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn right and continue straight for about 800 meters. You will pass the Post Office on your left. After passing the Post Office, keep an eye out for the sign indicating Ludrong Memorial Garden, which will be on your left side after a short walk.
