The bus ride takes about 1-1.5 hours, and buses leave approximately every 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Paro, you will be dropped off at the main bus station, which is centrally located.
Taxi

You can find taxis around Thimphu, especially near popular tourist spots like the Tashichho Dzong or the clock tower. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Paro. The journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip, as taxis may not use a meter.
Walking

If you are in a nearby area to Thimphu and wish to explore, you can walk to the outskirts of the city to catch a bus to Paro. Head towards the main road leading out of Thimphu, which will take you to the bus station. However, walking the entire distance to Paro is not recommended due to the length of the journey (approximately 65 km) and the lack of pedestrian pathways.
