If you are driving, start from Trashigang town. Head east on the Trashigang-Mongar Highway (NH8) for about 14 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating Bongbu re Waterfall and turn onto the smaller road that leads towards the waterfall. Continue on this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach a parking area near the waterfall. Be mindful of the road conditions, as some sections may be unpaved and require a 4WD vehicle.

If you are using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from Trashigang town heading towards Mongar. Inform the driver that you want to stop near the Bongbu re Waterfall. The bus will drop you off at the nearest point, which is approximately 17 kilometers from Trashigang town. From there, you will need to walk for about 3 kilometers on a footpath leading to the waterfall. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as the path may be uneven.
