Walking from Trashigang center
Start your journey from the center of Trashigang, where you'll find the main market area. Head east on the main road towards the Bhutan National Bank. Continue straight, passing the bank on your right. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you'll reach a fork in the road. Take the left path that leads uphill. This road will take you through local neighborhoods and provide a glimpse of daily life in Trashigang. Keep walking for about 20 minutes until you reach a sign pointing towards Rongthang. Follow the sign, and you will start to see the landscape become more rural. Continue on this path for another 30 minutes until you reach the base of the hill where Rangshikhar Goenpa is located. The temple will be visible from a distance as you approach. Ascend the final path leading up to the temple, which may take approximately 15 minutes.
