From the center of Trashigang, head towards the Trashigang Dzong, which is located on a hill overlooking the town. Begin your walk by making your way up the main road, known as Trashigang - Samdrumjongkhar Hwy. As you walk, keep an eye out for the local shops and cafes along the way, which can be great for a quick snack or drink. Continue walking uphill; the path will become steeper as you approach the Dzong. You will notice signs directing you to the Dzong viewpoint. Once you reach the Dzong, follow the path that leads to the viewpoint area, which offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and the Dzong itself.
Hiking
If you're up for a bit more adventure, consider hiking up to the viewpoint from a trail that starts near the Trashigang town center. Look for the trailhead located near the entrance of the Trashigang Dzong area. This trail will take you through some beautiful landscapes and local flora.
