Getting There

Walking
From the center of Trongsa, head north towards the Trongsa Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, continue walking straight past it, following the path that leads downhill. You will encounter a sign for Phobjikha Valley along the way. Keep following this path, which will lead you towards the main road. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction where you can see a signpost indicating the direction to Phobjikha Valley. You can choose to walk or take a local bus or taxi from this point.

Start at the Trongsa Bus Station, which is located near the town center. Look for a bus heading to Phobjikha Valley. Buses generally depart every hour. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Phobjikha Valley drop-off point, follow the signs to the main attractions within the valley.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Trongsa. Start your ride by heading towards the Trongsa Dzong and then follow the road towards the outskirts of the town.
