Getting There
Walking
From the center of Wangdue Phodrang, head east towards the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Walk along the main road, following the signs towards Giala. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right fork, which leads towards Giala. After about another 1.5 kilometers, you will start to see signs indicating Khotokha Ramsar. Keep walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of Khotokha Ramsar.
Trekking
If you are looking for a more scenic route, consider taking a trekking path from Wangdue Phodrang towards Khotokha Ramsar. Start your trek from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, heading north along the trails. This will take you through beautiful landscapes and small villages.
