Walking
From the center of Wangdue Phodrang, head south towards the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, take the path leading down towards the river. After crossing the bridge over the Punatshang Chhu River, follow the signs towards Thimphu. Continue walking along the main road for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the junction at the entrance of Thimphu. Here, you can either continue walking or take a local bus that goes towards Thimphu. If you choose to walk, keep going straight for another 30 minutes until you reach Ludrong Phakha area. The Ludrong Memorial Garden is located at FJRP+QJC in Thimphu, which is marked along the way.
