    From the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, head east towards the Wangdue market. As you exit the Dzong gate, take a left and walk down towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the junction where the road forks. At the fork, take the road leading to the right. You will pass by local shops and residences. Keep walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the bridge over the Puna Tsang Chu River. Cross the bridge, and once you’re on the other side, follow the pathway along the riverbank. The scenic route will lead you directly to the Puna Tsang Chu, where you can enjoy the views of the river and surrounding nature.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Wangdue Phodrang. Start from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and follow the same route as for walking. After exiting the Dzong, take a left towards the market. Keep straight towards the fork in the road and take the right path. The ride is about 2 kilometers to the bridge.
