Getting There

Walking
Starting from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, head north on the main road (Wangdue Phodrang - Punakha Highway). Walk for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the intersection at the base of the hill. Turn left onto the road that leads to Damina Village. Continue walking for about 30 minutes, following the signs towards Ngashigaykha. The lodge is situated approximately 1 km up this road, on your right side. Look for the sign for Wangdue Ecolodge, which is easily visible from the path.

Cycling
From the Wangdue Phodrang town center, rent a bicycle and set off towards Wangdue Phodrang - Punakha Highway. Cycle north for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto the road leading to Damina Village. Continue cycling for around 30 minutes. The Wangdue Ecolodge will be approximately 1 km up the road on your right. Ensure you keep an eye out for the lodge's sign.

Hiking
If you prefer a hiking route, start at the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and take the scenic trail that leads up to the hills. Follow the trail that goes towards Ngashigaykha, which offers beautiful views of the valley. This hike will take about 1 hour. After reaching the main road, turn left and walk for about 10 minutes. The lodge will be on your right side. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water.
