If you are traveling by car from Thimphu, head east on the National Highway 2 towards Phuentsholing. After approximately 150 kilometers, you will reach the town of Phuentsholing. From Phuentsholing, continue towards the border and cross into India at the Jaigaon-Gomtu border. After crossing, drive to Makrapara Tea Garden, which is located near the Gomtu Bhutan gate. The temple is about a 10-minute drive from the border gate. Ensure you have all necessary documents for crossing the border.
